The Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Excellence Awards have been recognising inspirational, passionate and talented managers for over 20 years. Finalists are interviewed by a panel of business leaders and senior executives and category winners are selected by the State and Territory's best and most senior business leaders.
Being shortlisted as a State Finalist is an amazing achievement in and of itself. The Young Manager of the Year category recognises the most successful business leaders up to the age of 30. This category acknowledges rising stars and aspiring leaders from business, government and industry and who are making their mark in the industry in which they work. Anyone nominated in this Young Manager of the Year category must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong leadership and management capability
- Exceptional skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- The significant impact they have had on their company
- Recognition of their personal brand and network and the importance of this
- A vision for themselves and their organisations
Accordingly, being shortlisted at a State Finalist is great recognition for Claudia’s leadership qualities, her contribution to AC3 and our customers, and her passion for her team and our business.
Simon Xistouris, CEO of AC3 said of Claudia’s nomination:
“I’m particularly excited about Claudia’s nomination because she is one of our own “home grown” leadership talent, having worked her way up through our business over the past 10 years. Her journey from Klikon’s receptionist to Manager of our Service Management team is nothing short of exceptional. Now responsible for our second largest business unit and team, Claudia is a critical member of our Senior Management Team and our AC3 family, and well-respected by her peers and customers alike. Being a finalist in this Award is phenomenal, external recognition of Claudia’s efforts.”
The NSW Winner will be announced on Friday night, 18 September, with the State Winner going through to the National Award ceremony to be held in October in Melbourne.
