The Women in ICT Awards recognise the very best in the channel, celebrating the achievements of a talented crop of female front runners who have made it through to become influential figures in Australia’s ICT industry.
The awards also recognise the ‘rising stars’ in the industry, women who are quickly growing in importance in the ICT industry. Our own Claudia Couzi, Manager, Service Management has been named as a Finalist in the ‘Rising Star’ award category in the 2015 Women in ICT Awards.
Being shortlisted as a Finalist is an amazing achievement. The Rising Star award recognises the candidate with a commitment to continuous career advancement and a proven desire to reach the next level of professional development. The candidate - who has been working in the ICT industry for under 10 years - is growing quickly in importance in the ICT field, demonstrating outstanding business acumen and professional integrity. Therefore, being shortlisted at a Finalist is great recognition for Claudia’s track record to date in leading her team and her contribution to ac3 and our customers.
Simon Xistouris, CEO of AC3 said of Claudia’s nomination:
“I’m extremely proud that Claudia has been named as one of this country’s ICT Rising Stars because she is one of our own “home grown” talents, having worked her way up through our business over the past 10 years. Her journey from our Receptionist to Manager of our Service Management team is an exceptional career trajectory and one that Claudia has embraced with her own personal style of professionalism, focus on continuous improvement and passion. Now responsible for our second largest business unit and team, Claudia is a critical member of our Senior Management Team and our ac3 family, and is well-respected by her peers and customers alike. Being a finalist in this Award is further recognition of Claudia’s efforts and talent.”
The Winner of the 2015 Women in ICT Rising Star Award will be announced on Thursday, 19 November at a lavish luncheon in Sydney at the Ivy Ballroom.
