ac3 has recorded a maiden profit of $240K, on a turnover of $6.3M, in fiscal year 2007. The company has been operating since late 2000, when it commenced life as a specialist organisation managing supercomputers for research institutions. Over the years the company has broadened its focus considerably, and now looks after normal computers - but still retains the original focus of looking after supercomputers.
“The board is delighted with the maiden profit", said Neville Stevens, chair of ac3. "The team has worked exceedingly hard over the past few years, and it is credit to them. The first few years of any new company is always a challenge. We’ve got through it, and look forward to the future with enthusiasm."
