Sydney, 2 June 2016 - Managed Service provider AC3 and the NSW Department of Justice have been jointly nominated in the Public Sector and Government category of the NSW iAwards. The nomination is for the collaboration between the two organisations on the CORE GovDC Migration Programme of Works.
The iAwards are the premier awards program for innovation in Australia's digital economy. Project nominations within the Public Sector and Government category demonstrate outstanding ICT innovation focussed on delivering digitisation of citizen services and improve efficiencies in government.
AC3 delivers ‘X-as-a-service’ to the NSW Department of Justice enabling 24/7 on demand cloud services to over 11,000 employees.
In response to the nomination Simon Xistouris, CEO, AC3 commented “It’s an honour to be nominated for an iAward for this project. The NSW Department of Justice was one of the early movers into GovDC and this forward looking approach facilitated a new approach to buying and using ICT. Without the need for major capital expenditure they gained the capacity and continuity needed.”
The NSW iAwards will take place at the Shangri La Hotel, Sydney on 30th June, 2016.
