Escorting visitors

All visitors to the ac3 data centres are escorted by ac3 staff.  Since everyone is subjected to this same requirement, you can be confident that your equipment is physically secure. 

A fixed amount of escorting during business hours is built into our basic offerings, and charges apply for additional escorting as follows:

• escorting above allowance, during business hours: 
  
• escorting weekdays 7.00am–8.00am, or 6.00pm–9.00pm
• escorting weekdays 9.00pm–7.00am, and weekends

Networks and Firewalls

ac3 can provide you with a Firewall zone, or a separate port on the ac3 firewall.  We can also monitor and manage your DMZ's, and provide you with analysis reports.

Security Audit

If you are intending to use any of our shared services, such as Backup or connection to the Internet, we need to carry out a Security Audit of your computers.  Since everyone is required to have this same audit, you can be confident that your computers will be located amongst other machines that have had a similar "health check". 

We will give you a report on the Audit.  You can address the issues yourself, or we can do that on your behalf.  Most of our Customers are surprised at how insecure their infrastructure really is.
