Racks and Servers

• Supply of a 45RU rack, 1200mm deep, 600mm wide, including Cable Managers:  $3,000

• Installation of servers for Basic Co-location:  $250 per server.

Installation - Power

If you are installing a rack, we need to arrange for power to be available.  We provide two power feeds per rack, supplied from different circuits, for redundancy.

• Pair of 20 amp single phase supply:  $1,320 per pair

• Pair of 32 amp single phase supply:  $2,520 per pair

• Pair of 32 amp three phase supply:   $2,880 per pair

Power Distribution Units

• Metered PDU 15/20 Amp:  $780
• Metered PDU 32 Amp:   $1,100
• In-line current meter - 15/20 Amp:  $650
• In-line current meter 32 Amp: $1,000

Other Installation Services

• Tile cutting: $160 per tile
• Rack earth bonding: $140
• Air grill: $400
• Waste removal (per cubic metre or part thereof):  $250 per cubic metre.
• Storage of equipment in data centre awaiting installation (after 10 days) per tile area:  $100 per week.
• Additional IP addresses (in excess of allowance):  $120 per annum

Installation – Security Audit

If you are intending to use any of our shared services, such as Backup or connection to the Internet, we need to carry out a Security Audit of your computers.  Since everyone is required to have this same audit, you can be confident that your computers will be located amongst other machines that have had a similar "health check". 

We will give you a report on the Audit.  You can address the issues yourself, or we can do that on your behalf.  Most of our Customers are surprised at how insecure their boxes really are.

The cost for a Security Audit is $350 per server.

Installation – Operating Systems and Software

We can install or configure Operating Systems for you.  ac3 has in-depth expertise in Microsoft, Linux and Solaris environments.

The cost for this service is $1,150 per day.

All prices are in $A and exclude GST.

Installation
