How FlexiServer is implemented
FlexiServer is implemented using bladecentre technology, each bladecentre comprising 80 processors with 80 Gbytes of memory, and associated SANs.
VMware is then used to partition the hardware into a series of discrete virtual environments, each of which can be configured differently, and can run different operating systems.
VMware ensures absolute isolation between the virtual environments, to provide a highly secure environment.

FlexiServer accommodates a mix of operating systems environments — Microsoft, Linux — with a range of configurations.
Increased reliability
Not only does FlexiServer provide flexibility with hardware configuration, it provides enhanced reliability.
Should a virtual environment fail for whatever reason, FlexiServer uses a special feature of VMware to recreate that environment in a flash in a spare part of the infrastructure, and your service continues without noticeable delay.
