AC3 has announced their official VMware Cloud Verified partnership, along with their Sovereign Cloud Certification.

This milestone is a major achievement for AC3’s cloud customers.

“With organisations becoming increasingly dependent on cloud services and with much of our customer base being in highly regulated industries, we want to ensure that we are delivering what our customers need and expect, and that is a high level of data flexibility and resiliency”, says Simon Xistouris, CEO at AC3. “And our VMware Sovereign Cloud Certification is just another element of both our cloud and cyber security capabilities”.

Becoming VMware Cloud Verified is a lengthy process because it is important for customers to validate that their partner has the experience and expertise migrating to the cloud.

VMware Sovereign Cloud is architected and built to deliver security and data access that meets strict requirements of regulated industries and local jurisdiction laws on data privacy, access and control. It is intended to ensure that data and infrastructure is free from control by external jurisdictions and protected from foreign government access.

“Whilst the focus is often on enhancing cloud security, it (sovereign cloud) can also improve data control, strengthen compliance, provide business insight, and facilitate business growth”, says Xistouris.

AC3’s Sovereign Cloud provides increased control and ownership of data and helps customers comply with their requirements in these areas. This could come from industry regulatory schemes, government standards, or data privacy legislation. It can also allocate resources on-demand and provide complete security control, saving both time and money for its customers, along with providing peace of mind that their data is protected from international jurisdictional requests.

Sovereign Cloud can protect and unlock the value of critical data for both private and public sector organisations.
